Integrated Programs & Services

Creating Room for Everyone

One Treasure Island was founded over 25 years ago to develop a vibrant and inclusive community on San Francisco's Treasure Island. Central to this mission is offering programs and services to the Island's diverse and ever-expanding community, with a priority on serving those from lower-income households or who have experienced homelessness.

Through programs such as financial literacy education and food pantry services, One Treasure Island works hard to ensure Treasure Island remains an equitable, inclusive, and thriving community for all. Learn more about all we have to offer!

Programs & Services

  • Affordable Housing

Our work is to create and provide opportunities for affordable housing for low-income and formerly homeless San Franciscans through planning, advocacy and technical affordable housing development assistance. This work is imperative to meeting our equity goals and agenda.

  • Construction Training Program

This comprehensive 8-week, 40 hour a week pre-apprenticeship training program is designed to prepare clients at any skill level for union jobs in the construction industry. In addition to the training, One Treasure Island staff also work to place eligible graduates in employment.

  • Employment Services

One Treasure Island matches qualified Treasure Island job seekers with employers seeking to meet local hiring goals. We provide tailored services directly to employers seeking to fill vacancies, and to job seekers seeking employment. Learn more about these services.

  • Financial Services

This program helps Island residents and workers build long-term economic security through financial education and counseling services. We also connect residents with a variety of resources — such as tax preparation and legal assistance — through partner organizations.

  • Food Pantry

The Treasure Island Food Pantry is part of the San Francisco Food Bank’s Neighborhood Food Pantry Program, and provides both staples and fresh produce to island residents and workers. Please note that this service is only available to those who live and work on Treasure Island.

  • Building Community

One Treasure Island works with residents and community partners to bring events, workshops, activities, and leadership opportunities to residents throughout the year. Join us at an upcoming event to learn more about what's happening on the island.
